Joey GDMF Wright's "Mighty Mazda"

Our friend Joey GDMF Wright decided to take his old beater 86 Mazda pickup and make it into something way more fun than it's former self. The combination he chose was a 6.0 LS engine with a VS Racing Turbo and Powerglide, running Holley management. The result is a nasty street truck that is notorious for taking a lot of peoples money, and being deadly consistent. After getting a little froggy with his 2-step at the end of 2022, we threw 6 bent Gen IV rods in the trash, sourced some straight ones, re-machined everything, made some worthy upgrades, and went back together. His first outing at the track with the new engine saw him set a new personal best on less boost than his previous. We won't reveal too much more of what this thing is capable of, but if you see a shitbox flatbed Mazda truck with a turbo chilling by the front bumper, just pack your stuff up and leave before he takes your money.
